1. OverviewThese Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of the website Edit by Love and the purchase of our digital invitation services.

By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

2. Services ProvidedWe offer personalized digital invitations and related design services.

All products are digital. No physical items are shipped.

1. 3. Ordering ProcessYou choose a template and place an order.
2. You complete the personalization form.
3. We send the first version within the specified timeframe (48–72 hours).
4. You may request revisions within the allowed correction window.
5. After your approval, we send the final link to your digital invitation.

4. RevisionsWe offer revisions as part of the service.

Revisions must be requested within the agreed timeframe (typically 48 hours after receiving the draft).

Major structural changes may require an additional fee.

5. DeliveryThe final digital invitation is delivered via a shareable link.

The link remains active until the event date + 3 months.

6. Refund PolicySince all products are custom-made digital goods, refunds are not available once work on your order has begun.

However, we will adjust the design until it meets your expectations.

This is consistent with:

• EU Directive on Digital Content
• German BGB § 312g
• US digital goods regulations

7. Use of Your Digital InvitationYou may share your invitation only for personal, non-commercial use.

You may not resell, redistribute or claim authorship of the final design.

8. Intellectual PropertyAll templates, layouts, designs, graphics and visual elements remain the exclusive property of Edit by Love.

Purchasing does not grant ownership of the template, only a personal-use license.

9. User ContentBy uploading photos, text, or other materials, you confirm that:

• you own the rights to this content, or
• have permission to use it,
• it does not infringe copyright or privacy laws.

We are not responsible for content provided by the customer.

10. Music and AudioWe can integrate music if:

• the track is royalty-free, or
• you provide your own file and confirm that you have rights to use it.

We do not provide copyrighted music.

11. Prohibited UseYou agree NOT to use the website or invitation for:

• illegal, harmful or offensive content
• misleading information
• infringing others’ rights
• distributing copyrighted materials without permission

12. Availability and Technical IssuesWe strive for uninterrupted access, but we do not guarantee continuous availability.

Temporary downtime may occur due to hosting or technical issues.

13. Liability LimitationsTo the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

• indirect or incidental damages
• data loss
• user errors
• third-party service failures (e.g., hosting, payment providers)

14. Governing LawThese Terms are governed by:

• For EU and German users: German law (BGB)
• For US/international users: general contract law of the United States
